Western Convenience Stores Association SOI Dinner and Report to kick off the 2011 Calgary Convenience U CARWACS Show
The second annual WCSA State of the Industry Dinner and Report event on October 18th in Calgary is the most informative western industry function of the year.
The speaker lineup for the 2011 State of the Industry Dinner and Western Regional Report has been announced:
- Wayne Hoskins, WCSA – , opening address.
- Alex Scholten, CCSA, with a national association overview.
- Wayne Hoskins and Michel Gadbois of the CCSA – will present highlights of the 2011 SOI report.
- Dr. Andre Corriveau, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, will present a collaborative government and private sector approach to nutrition.
- Michael Davis, vice president member services of NACS will discuss NACS- WCSA and WCSA NACS collaboration.
“I am proud to announce that Dr. Andre Corriveau, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, will be joining the head table for the event. Dr. Corriveau will outline collaborative government private sector efforts to date and how retailers can participate in the program,” said WCSA president Wayne Hoskins.
The WCSA SOI Dinner and Report evening, which takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on October 18 at Heritage Park, leads into one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, the Convenience U CARWACS (Calgary) Show, on October 19 and 20 at BMO Centre at Stampede Park.
