We look forward to welcoming each of you again for the second annual WCSA State of the Industry Dinner and Highlights Event, which will be held at Heritage Park in Calgary on Tuesday October 18, 2011! This will kick off Western Canada’s largest trade show and conference in the C Store channel once more – the Convenience U CARWACS Show at BMO Centre October 19-20th. The Western Convenience Stores Association (WCSA) is proud to present the Canadian Convenience Stores Association’s (CCSA) second annual State of Industry Report. We invite all industry stakeholders to partake in this event, which will showcase the importance and size of our channel nationally, as well as regionally in western Canada. Western provinces (BC, AB, SK, MB, YT, NT, Nunavut) continue to show strong economic and demographic growth and represent over 30% now of the total convenience store dollar sales in Canada*. Western provinces are home to well over 50,000 full time convenience store employees, representing in excess $9.8 billion in annual sales and 4.8 billion in annual revenues for local and regional governments*.
